Mr. Yuan Bai, aged 55, an Executive Director of the Group. He is responsible for the capital management and the phosphate mine operation of the Group. Mr. Yuan graduated from Northeast Institute of Technology with a bachelor degree in engineering in 1982 and obtained a certificate as Senior Engineer in 1992. Mr. Yuan studied economy management in Qinghua University from September 1995 to March 1996. Prior to joining the Group in August 1999, Mr. Yuan was the Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Sanjiu Industrial Co., Ltd., which focused on the manufacture and trading of non-ferrous metal. Mr. Yuan was elected as a people’s delegate of the first session of the
People’s Congress of Chongqing in 1997.
